Channel letter sets (front-lit or halo-lit, with raceways or flush mount), lightbox and cabinet signs of any size, blade and projecting signs, dimensional pin-mounted letters, window vinyl and door graphics, flat aluminum or composite panels, and full-frame illuminated cabinets. Every install includes mounting hardware, sealant for facade penetrations, and electrical wiring up to the disconnect when a sub-feed is already in place.
Standard installs use ladders. For high mounts, blade signs over busy sidewalks or anything past 25 ft we bring a lift or scissor platform - quoted up front, no day-of surprises.
Permits and street use
NYC requires Department of Buildings permits for most storefront signs over a certain size, and a separate sidewalk-occupancy permit when a lift is parked at the curb. We handle both. For Landmarks-district storefronts (parts of Brownstone Brooklyn, SoHo, parts of Greenwich Village, etc.) we prepare and file the Landmarks Preservation Commission application; expect 4-8 weeks for that approval.
Existing signs that need a permit refresh, electrical inspection or a UL listing recertification - we can pull the paperwork and resubmit.
Coverage area
We install across Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island, plus inner Long Island (Nassau County) and select parts of New Jersey adjacent to the Hudson tunnels. Outside that zone we coordinate a freight ship to your nearest dock with mount-only instructions for a local installer; we have done this for shops as far as the Hamptons and the Berkshires.
Lead time for install-only jobs is typically 5-10 business days from approval, faster when no DOB permit is required (e.g. interior signs or non-illuminated awnings under 6 sq ft).
